Thank you for your interest in UWANFC's 2026 Men's Performance Teams (U18 and Reserves).

Expressions of Interest will be reviewed by Technical staff prior to an Invitation to Participate in trials being emailed to you.

  • TERMS AND CONDITIONS
    UWANFC Men's Performance (U18 and Reserves) Expression of Interest

    1. SELECTION PROCESS
    1.1 Selection Committee
    The Expression of Interest (EOI) submissions will be assessed by the Head Coach and Technical Director.
    1.2 Selection Criteria
    Selection criteria may include, but are not limited to:
    • Player skill
    • Attitude
    • Coachability
    • Team balance
    • Previous experience
    1.3 Communication
    The primary method of communication regarding your EOI, trial dates, and any potential offers will be via the email address you provide in the EOI form. It is your responsibility to ensure this email address is accurate and checked regularly.
    2. ELIGIBILITY
    2.1 Age Requirements
    Players must fall within the specified age groups for the Academy program in the upcoming season, as determined by Football West and Football Australia guidelines.
    2.2 Accurate Information
    You warrant that all information provided in the EOI form is true, accurate, and complete. Any false or misleading information may result in the EOI being voided and the player being excluded from consideration.
    3. FEES AND PAYMENTS
    3.1 No EOI Fee
    There is no fee to submit an Expression of Interest.
    3.2 Academy Program Fees
    Should a player be successful in the trial process and be offered a place in the Academy, acceptance of that offer will be conditional upon payment of a deposit and the subsequent balance of the applicable registration and program fees by the specified deadlines. Detailed fee information will accompany any formal offer.
    4. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION
    4.1 Collection of Information
    By submitting an EOI, you consent to UWANFC collecting and storing the personal information you provide.
    4.2 Use of Information
    The information collected will be used to:
    • Administer the EOI and trials process
    • Communicate with you about the Academy program
    • Inform you of other relevant club news and events
    4.3 Confidentiality
    Your personal information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. It will not be sold or disclosed to third parties for marketing purposes. You may request access to or correction of your information by contacting the club at boysfootball@uwanfc.com.au.
    5. MEDICAL INFORMATION AND CONSENT
    5.1 Disclosure
    You must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or injuries relevant to the player’s participation in soccer activities on the EOI form.
    5.2 Consent for Treatment
    In the event of a medical emergency during a trial or assessment, and if a parent or guardian is not present or contactable, you authorise club officials to seek medical assistance or treatment as they deem necessary.
    6. PHOTOGRAPHY AND MEDIA
    • You consent to UWANFC taking photographs or videos of the player during trials, training, and other club-sanctioned activities.
    • You agree that these images and videos may be used by the club for promotional purposes, including on the club website, social media channels, and in other publications, without compensation.
    • If you do not consent to this, you must notify the club in writing at boysfootball@uwanfc.com.au.
    7. CODE OF CONDUCT
    • All players and parents/guardians must adhere to the UWANFC's Code of Conduct, as well as the codes of conduct set by Football West and Football Australia.
    • Respect for coaches, officials, volunteers, and other players is mandatory at all times. Failure to comply may result in exclusion from the selection process.
    8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
    • Participation in sporting activities, including soccer trials, carries an inherent risk of injury.
    • To the extent permitted by law, you agree to release and indemnify UWANFC, its committee members, coaches, volunteers, and agents from any and all claims, demands, or actions arising out of any injury, loss, or damage sustained by the player during the EOI and trial process.
    9. GENERAL
    9.1 Amendments
    UWANFC reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
    9.2 Governing Law
    These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia.

    ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
    By submitted the Expression of Interest form, you confirm that:
    • You are the legal parent or guardian of the player named in the form.
    • You have read, understood, and agree to be fully bound by the Terms and Conditions outlined above.
    • All information provided in the Expression of Interest form is true and correct.
